24 Weeks.

24 wks

Total Weight Gained: 11.4 pounds. Sigh.

Cravings: Buffalo sauce is still so very awesome. SO very awesome. And on the spicy trend (I normally steer away from all spicy foods), I got nachos and cheese at the game on Saturday. WITH jalapenos. and ATE the jalapenos. And they were good. Which makes me look forward to the next game on Saturday…I might get extra jalapenos.

Aversions: Being awake. I have been SOOOO sleepy, and therefore sooooo emotional the last couple of weeks. Like seriously almost-can’t-function sleepy. I’m pretty angry that this second trimester has provided me NO extra energy spurts whatsoever. Also, housecleaning is a major aversion.

So yeah…it’s been a rough couple weeks pregnancy-wise, which really makes for a short update to cut off the whining before it gets worse. Here’s to the 25th week!!!

Wow, good job on the weight gain! That's nothing! That is so funny that you like spicy food all the sudden. Sorry you aren't getting the energy boost. I didn't get it until the third trimester with S. I know that is when your energy is supposed to go back down, but for me it went up.

I took my glucose test around 20 weeks and with a holiday week I was not able to go to the dr. again until week 25 when they told me my blood test results that I was LOW on iron. I had been SOOO tired but once I started my iron supplement my energy came back immediately. It's worth checking. p.s. you look adorable!

I was super tired too through the whole second trimester. But then I had a bit of a boost in the third. So maybe this baby didn't get the memo about how the trimesters are "supposed" to go either...
