It's the Yittle Fings: Part Nine

Ali was putting her rain boots on, but taking a while. I looked over, and she had taken the insoles out. She looked up, and without me saying a word, she explained: "I took them out so that I can take bigger steps."
Ali has some Bible Songs CDs that she LOVES. She sings along with all of the songs, even though I know that she has no idea what some are talking about.

One such song: Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. One time when she was singing it, she matter-of-factly explained to me, "They're talking about exercise, Mommy."

Well, I'm glad we've got THAT cleared up.
Ali was saying the blessing the other day, and she prayed, "Thank you for Mommy and Daddy and me and Fred. Amen."

Chris and I looked up, and at the same time, asked each other, "Who's Fred?"
We were headed to meet Ashley, AJ and Tessa for lunch on Monday. I told Ali, "We're going to each lunch with AJ!"

She asked, "Will Ashley be there too?"

I said, "Yes, and Baby....what baby will be at lunch?"

Ali: "Well, Gramamma has Baby Jesus at her house. So Baby Tessa will be at lunch."

Yes, that makes perfectly logical sense.

So glad I got to meet Ali. Now I can hear her saying those little comments. I love it!

Does Ali have an imaginary friend, Fred?! Doesn't that start around her age?
